GTKY - Would you rather win the lottery and be set for life or find your perfect job?

Re: Tuesday Ticker Change!

  • EDD/Weeks: 21 weeks; Nov. 18th (counting down, not up now!)

Symptoms: acne so bad. I started using benzoyl peroxide and thought it had started working, but now I'm breaking out again just as before. *sigh*

On a positive note, I've been REALLY bummed because I haven't felt baby move, but I'm 99.9% positive I felt him/her having a dance party last night at 2am. It woke me up! Hoping it happens again so I can confirm.

    Appointments/Rants/AW/etc:Nada till Aug. 1st

GTKY - Would you rather win the lottery and be set for life or find your perfect job? Tough question. I would probably say lottery but I wouldn't sit at home because I would be too bored. I'd find some kind of volunteer work or even a part-time job

    EDD/Weeks: 11 Nov / 22wks

    Symptoms: same ol'

Appointments/Rants/AW/etc: I'm really irritated with my husband right now, but am hoping to get over it soon. It's mostly justified, but partially hormonal overreaction. I don't wanna go into the details, but just don't deal well when people act like dickholes for reasons they've inflicted upon themselves.

GTKY - Would you rather win the lottery and be set for life or find your perfect job?
What a good question. I'm gonna go with win the lottery. That way I would be set for life, but have the opportunity to work in/ with/ around what I love while under no obligation to do so. I'll have my cake and eat it, please :\">

    EDD/Weeks:  11/4, 23 weeks, 1 week to v-day!

Symptoms:  Heartburn has returned, and I have this new, weird numb spot on the top of my stomach that sometimes itches and sometimes hurts, but I can't feel if I scratch it.  Annoying.

Appointments/Rants/AW/etc:  My sister set the date for my shower, yay!  Next appointment is Friday just for a check-in.

GTKY - Would you rather win the lottery and be set for life or find your perfect job?  I'd win the lottery, so that I could then create my perfect job- opening a flower shop where I can stop in and work a few days a week when I feel like it.

    Baby boy arrived 11/13/14!

  • EDD/Weeks:
    11/18- 21w!

    Symptoms:
nothing unusual. Some swelling in my feet, but my new house has central air, so I bet that will help!

    Appointments/Rants/AW/etc:
    next appointment is Friday!
AW we are all moved into our new house. I love it. But will love it even more when we have Internet (today!)

GTKY - Would you rather win the lottery and be set for life or find your perfect job?
win the lottery. My perfect job doesn't pay enough to live on, so that would help!

Plus, I could find a number of volunteer positions, and travel to volunteer as well!
  • EDD/Weeks: Nov 7/ 22ish weeks

Symptoms: tired and shortness of breath, but that could be from the absolutely amazing humidity in FL right now :/

Appointments/Rants/AW/etc: Chiro appointment on Friday to continue to align my jacked up pelvis to get ready for birth-- seriously- Chiro in pregnancy is AMAZING! Esp ones trained in Webster technique :)
Rants-- humidity, but I think my above scarcasm already touched on that...

GTKY - Would you rather win the lottery and be set for life or find your perfect job? I have my dream job. I am lucky in regards to that, but what I would love even more than having My dream job is to be able to afford to take a year off post p to care for my newborn myself. I absolutely love what I do, and I know that it is my passion and my long term career, but I just want to be a mom for a bit and not have to stress about *having* to work with littles at home. If I took the rest of the school year off after having baby, our insurance would jump to $1,000 per month. That is the sad reality that keeps me at work while my baby will be with someone else. Even if I won the lottery and took time off from teaching to stay home and possibly homeschool our children, I'd definitely go back, and use all my income to give back to educational programs.

Ugh, I am so with you on this, it sucks.  I like my job and am not interested in being a stay-at-home mom long-term, but I would drop it in a heartbeat to stay home for the first year or 2.  Sadly I carry our health insurance and H's employer offers terrible coverage that's ridiculously expensive, so between losing my income and our insurance costs going up so much, it's not an option.  It makes me sad.

  • Insurance sucks the life out of us. Hubby and I are both teachers in the same Diocese, so while we work for the same "company" our insurance is less than $500 per month, but the moment one of us leaves it jumps to about $1,000. I mean come on, how is that even remotely possible on a teacher's salary?! I just want to stay home and nurse my baby on demand for a year and not have to leave my classroom every 2-3 hours to pump leaving me with no lunch, plannings, or time to myself to grade. Blah-- end rant.
  • 21 weeks

Pain in my hip if i hold one of the boys to long or sit with my legs up to one side.  Nothing else yet

Had our ultrasound yesterday; it's a GIRL!  Next appointment isn't until the end of the month

I would prefer to win the lottery and be set for life.  Then I could spend my time doing what I want when I want.
  • EDD/Weeks: 11/11, 22 weeks!

    Symptoms: Heartburn. Damnit it sucks.
Appointments/Rants/AW/etc: I love how much I can feel him in there right now. Its so cool to have H feel it too.
GTKY - Would you rather win the lottery and be set for life or find your perfect job?  LOTTERY. I want to be home with my baby :( unfortunately that is not an option, but if we won the lottery I would drop my job like it was hot. SEE YA.
  • EDD: 11/25, 20 weeks!

Symptoms: lots of pelvic pressure, sore boobs, hungry and tired always

Appts/AW/etc: Halfway mark today and baby is wiggling like crazy

GTKY: I'm lucky enough to have my dream job, but winning the lottery would be cool!

  • EDD: Nov 18 - 21 weeks

Symptoms:  lots of baby kicks!  Sore boobs, tailbone is killing me, swollen feet.

Appts/AW/etc:  Having another boy!  Found out a few weeks ago, but it's still sinking in - I was convinced it was a girl.  It's great news though,
I'm excited for DS to have a little brother.

GTKY: Win the lottery hands down.  Then I could do whatever the eff I want, pursue my dream job, and if it turns out not to be the dreamy job I dreamed of, go buy a new one!

  • EDD: Nov 4 - 23 weeks

Symptoms: constipation, and lower belly tenderness

Appointments/Rants/Raves/AW: midwife appointment tomorrow. Should get to hear the results from our a/s scan. I am hoping since I haven't heard anything right after the scan that everything is okay. She had been kicking up a storm the past couple of days.

GTKY: I kinda have my dream job now. I am a photographer. But the market is so saturated that it's tough to make any real money. So I choose: win the lottery. Being set for life would be amazing and then I would volunteer and travel!

    EDD/Weeks: 23 weeks, 11/4

Symptoms: can't sleep, can't get comfortable and my pregnancy carpal tunnel is awesome. Not.

Appointments/Rants/AW/etc: had an appointment today! We got to see the littles on u/s because we discussed a VBAC. Apparently I have a tilted and weirdly shapen ute, so my chances of this baby not being breech are low. So, most likely having a RCS.

GTKY - Would you rather win the lottery and be set for life or find your perfect job? Win the lottery! Then I would get a job at a daycare or as a paraprofessional.

  • Edd- 11/11, 22 weeks

Symptoms: bending over has become quite the trick! I tried to reach my under the seat bag on a plane and it was difficult at best!

Updates: I've been MIA on vacation and work trips, but I had my A/S. all was well and we are having a boy! I have a regular appointment on Friday.

Gtky: definitely the lottery so I could pay off my student loans and buy a house! Also I'd buy the beautiful all natural crib and coordinating furniture that costs a zillion dollars and put it in the additional bedroom that I don't currently have (but would if I won the lottery!)
