clomid not working - next step consult **child mentioned**

So I'm working on my third round of clomid at 200mg a day - I'm angry just for having to go through this. The first two rounds made absolutely no difference at 100 and 150mgs/day. The RE told me it was very unlikely that the 200mg would work and already has be for a 'next-step consult'. I've heard the next step could be injections which is obviously more of an aggressive approach which I suppose it good but as the week passes and I prepare for the clomid check ultrasound on Friday, I become more and more nervous. I find it so insanely aggrevating that we conceived our first child in two months and now after over 1.5 years we may need injections or more just to grow our family.. and I am so gosh darn tired of everyone around me doing it!! especially the ones who have children my child's age and know how much we want to grow our family. I feel like they are looking at me like "c'mon, what's the hold up?" - Oh nothing, turns out I'm infertile..

Mar-May 2013 - no cycle but lots of BFNs
May 2013 - dx hypothyroid
Sept 2013 - began charting
May 2014 - dx anovulatory
Jun 19 - clomid 100 - no result
Jun 27 - clomid 150 - no result
Jul 5 - clomid 200 - no result
Soon to begin gonal-f injections

    Girl, we are in the same boat...literally. I too, just started Clomid 200 mg after no response on 50...100...150...doc is also talking injections or a different med. Best of luck to you!  Keep me posted!!

    DX: Annovulation
    SA: excellent
    HSG: normal
    Treatment: Clomid 50 mg (NR); 100 mg (NR); 150 mg (NR);
    July 2014 200 mg Clomid w/ good response
    7-19-14 Ovidrel trigger w/ scheduled intercourse on 7/19 and 7/20
    7-24-14 pregnancy symptoms started
    7-31-14 pregnancy symptoms increasing
    8-1-14 BFP!!
    8-2-14 BFP!!
    8-3-14 (just to make sure lol) BFP!!
    8-4-14 b/w confirmed!
    8-6-14 b/w still looks good, u/s scheduled for 8/14 and b/w on 8/13

    I responded for a cycle or two at 50mg then stopped...same with 100mg and 150mg. Now I also take clomid 200mg as my last stop before injects but it makes me ovulate like a champ! No less than two good sized follies a cycle. I just triggered for my fourth consecutive month. Don't give up, 200mg might be just right for you!
