Hi ladies. My DP and I are 8w3d pregnant with twins. We are away on vacation with our family and friends and yesterday afternoon got to head to the ER with a bleed. We conceived via IUI and Unfortunatly am also sufferin from an overstimulated Right ovary.
Was taken right in and give a 2hr vaginal ultrasound that showed 2 healthy babies who are moving an groovin with great heartbeats, sacks and fluid. However, they said the bleed was from 1 of the babies creating their placenta and attaching it to the uterus and hitting a blood vessel.
There was no cramping or HEAVY bleed until ultrasound. When sat up after ultrasound it was as though you dumped a bucket down me and all over the place.
They've said it needs to clot on its own. Our dr. Back home said stay at beach house and rest and relax.
Last night bleeding got scary but only a few little clots...mostly just blood.
Today, bleeding has let up and pain went away. Still spotty and gets heavier if stand up and walk around much...like to kitchen. So now it's back to bed. Only up to pee.
Anybody had anything similar? Success stories? Really scared. 1st pregnancy. We had first ultrasound last week at 7weeks and babies looked great then too. So scary.
10 medicated IUI's (3 with injectables).
IUI #1 (medicated) Jan. 2013-BFP!!!!- Beta's didn't double, MTX shot for possible ectopic.
8 IUI's between April 13-April 14 = BFN
IUI #10 and final before IVF, injectables May 2014- BFP!!!! TWINS!!!!
7 week ultrasound showed 2 wonderful heartbeats!
8 weeks to the ER with vaginal bleeding while on vacations! Diagnosed SubChorionic Hemorrhage. Babies are both great.
9 week ultrasound showed both babies are still great.
