cramping please help

Hi everyone my name is Britney I am 30 weeks and for the last hour I have had mild cramping like every two to three minutes was wondering if anyone has had this and what they were told to do I don't want to bother my doc again for yet another pelvic exam if I don't have to

    I was told more than 4/hr deserves a call. I called once a month ago and was sent home, then again a couple weeks ago and it turns out I was in PTL this time. Better to be safe than sorry. I thought I was going to be told to increase fluids, was not expecting a weekend stay and BR. I'd call.

    I'm not Tightening or anything and he is still moving like crazy did Your belly tighten like a contraction or anything

    Nope, just period cramps. Then I had one loose stool and one cramp moved from belly to tops of legs. Baby would stop during cramp, then kick like crazy in between. But everybody's different.

    what she said. if you wanna avoid calling the doc, try laying down, drinking water and seeing if they go away, if it doesn't I'd DEFINITELY call.

    Is this your first baby? When in doubt, call!

    Are you spotting? Is baby moving? You could be in the first stages of labor or it's false labor.

    Monitor how long they are. Are the cramps starting from the top of your belly and wrapping around to your back? Those are contractions, not cramps. How long do they last? How many minutes are they apart? When in doubt, go to Labor and Delivery if you are concerned.

    If you are at all concerned call your Dr that is what they are there for. I have called my Dr so much this pregnancy and they not once made me feel bad for calling. Better to call and be safe, then to sit around worrying.

    Could you have to poop?  I know lately I have been getting more cramps, but end up pooping way more than I was the entire pregnancy.  Just another side effect of almost being done.  Like pp have said, try drinking more water and relax.  See if that helps.
