Boba/ ergo moms

I had a ring sling but my daughter started fighting it and it wasn't comfortable anymore for me since the weight is on one shoulder. Anyways I bought a boba 4g and I loveeeee it. But my daughter still fights it like she doesn't like to be confined( hates swaddling too) any tips on how to get her more comfortable with it? I have been putting her in it for like 10 min at a time 4 times during the day. But the whole reason I got one was bc she loves being close to me and I need to get
Things done around the house and shop without having a stroller! Also how do you get
Your LO to sleep in a carrier!?

    My LO loves the ergo, she struggles a bit at first but as soon as I start walking she passes out or settles down and starts looking around. Maybe try going for a walk with her but bring the stroller just in case.

    Firm bum patting and deep bouncing... often with loud shhhh-ing too.

    I lost my boba! I need to dig around in the garage to locate it.

    It might be that you LO just doesn't like being in the carriers. DS1 was that way, he just hated to be confined.

    My DD only ended up liking a carrier that you can face out because she was always so curious.
    I have an Ergo and my DS gets a little upset at first but i start walking immediately and pat his butt. He used to fall asleep in the carrier but now he is more interested in looking around at everything.

    I have a little heel-toe bounce walk that I do, along with bum patting and shushing, that usually does the trick.

    E hates being in the Ergo at home, she used to be fine with it, but now, she fights it hard core. If we go out somewhere though, she loves looking around and is fine to be close to me. She gets the pacifier and goes to sleep within just a few minutes, and that buys me 1/2 an hour to get the grocery shopping done before she's up again.

    My little guy loves his Ergo and the ring sling. I bounce/walk and he calms right down and often falls asleep. He much prefers it to the stroller.

    The first 5 minutes in the Ergo are not fun for him, but as soon as I've been moving around for a few minutes, he falls asleep.   You might just have to push through the first few minutes, and don't stand or sit still :-)
