Two months ago we bought our Graco Crib. I have been waiting to put this thing together forever!! Since we are moving it didn't make since to put it together until we had the keys to our new place. We started moving this weekend and so I started to work on the crib. I had to stop at step one. The pre-drilled hole on one piece doesn't line up with the other piece. That was frustrating, but not the end of the world.
Yesterday I called the manufacture and becuase I didn't have all the information she was asking for she told me she couldn't help me. There was no way to look it up. So today I called back. She didn't even need all the info she asked for yesterday. She told me they were discontinuing all their furnture and to return it to the store.
I called Graco customer service. She said the manufacturer is going out of business and to return the crib! That's your solution?? I'm not buying another one from you!! Ok things get discontinued and places go out of business all time, but how can they sale me a broken product TWO months ago and not have any way of correcting this?? Why were they allowed to sale me something two months ago if they couldn't ensure quality or customer service?? Why would Graco not try to find some better way to handle this?
Maybe I'm overreacting, but at 36 weeks 3 days pg this feels like a very big deal!

I think the problem is they are going out of business, but thank you for pointing out the mistakes I made while upset. I'll try to not let it happen again.
