Looking forward to wearing a shirt again... Monday morning humor

Either I'm really bad at this or ..? I've given up on wearing shirts. We joke it's now a topless household. I was wearing nursing tops but it seems I always leak or LO soaks it because she tends to drip during feedings. Then I'm cold. Damn overactive letdown! No shortage of milk here. At 4wks she is feeding constantly...

I do put on a cardigan if I get chilly. Looks funny with nothing underneath.

Anyone else taken to running a topless household? :D

  • Not completely topless, but I did walk onto our back patio with a boob out when I was letting the dog out. It's way too easy to forget the status of my nursing tank these days.

  • I end up dripping everywhere if I'm not wearing something, but I often end up in just a nursing bra. So much easier than dealing with a shirt.

  • I wear yoga shorts and either a nursing tank, or just a plain nursing sleep bra. The few times we've gone out so far, I'm at a loss in my wardrobe for tops that Ican nurse in.
  • I haven't, but mostly because it makes for a great burp cloth to soak up all of her excessive spit up. I'm sure I smell lovely.

  • I can't just pull a boob out to nurse because both LO and I end up soaking everything. I have to get topless and stuff a blanket/towel under their to catch it. I'm not even sure how to nurse in public, I think I've got maybe 2 tops that might work.

  • Half the time I'm topless or in a pajama top rolled up around the house. My babies are often just in diapies too since they're messy eaters and it's hot here. We're all topless!

  • Me too!

As far as NIP, I have four nursing tanks from Target that are great if I go out. It's chilly here though (Nor Cali coast) so I throw another top on over it and a cardigan. I found some great used tops at a consignment shop that I throw over the target nursing tank.
  • I don't go topless but I do have a boob hanging out a lot. I like to express a little breast milk onto my nipples after a feeding and let it air dry. Then I forget it's out. One time DF's friend shows up unannounced and just walks through the front door... It was a little awkward.

  • I live in my target nursing tanks. I do find myself forgetting that I have a boob out very often. If I go out then I just put a button up sleeveless shirt on top.

I'll share this here, but I finished nursing baby on my right boob and when I was done, there was a wet spot right near my left boob. I literally didn't know if my boob leaked or baby peed out of his diaper. DH found this hysterical and his new favorite thing is to say "hashtag Mommy Problems!"

My right boob always leaks when I feed with my left. Not the other way around though. It makes me mad because it leaks a lot!
@wareagle1220‌ - Have you tried milk savers? I hear great things.
Yes, they're great! Anyone with leaky boobs should invest!
