I am struggling to figure out out back to work schedule. Right now I need to leave the house around 7:40am to get to daycare to drop off both kids by 8:15am. Eventually once the baby sleeps longer at night it will be easier since I'll just wake him to eat then get both boys dressed and out the door but right now it is hard since you can't predict a newborn obviously and I am not getting that much sleep. The first night back I went to sleep at 10pm, DH went to bed at 10:30pm. I was awake with the baby from 1:30am-3am then at 5:30am he woke and I pumped while DH fed him then I got a catnap until I woke up at 7am to get myself and our 3 year old ready. This worked out well since the baby was fine to just sleep and eat as soon as he got to daycare. Last night was harder to figure out since the baby woke at 12:30am and 4:30am. I expected that DH would wake the baby again at 6:30am and get to him to eat so that he'd be fine to make it to daycare. But DH just got himself ready and expected me to feed him while getting everyone ready and out the door on my own since DH leaves for work at 7am. I hate to feed a baby when he isn't hungry but I don't want him starving on the way to daycare. Should I start the day sooner so that I have time to feed DS #2 at like 7am vs 6:30am eventhough DH sleeps the bulk of the night? I know TL&DR but if you read this all I thank you for any advice. Eventually I know it will get easier but not sure what to do in the meantime.

Re: Need help on back to work schedule
That would be another idea. It is only hard since DS #1 is soo clingy at drop offs, he insists on dropping the baby off first so I'd have to nurse the baby with his older brother trying to climb all over me which is tough since he is still a poor breast feeder. He loves the daycare once he's there but I don't think I could get away sneaking back to the baby after dropping him off, he is way too smart.

I'd love to go to bed earlier but it just seems like I never make it. I usually breastfeed the baby at like 8:30pm and am done at 9pm but then I have to pump so it is 9:30pm by the time that is cleaned up and I don't fall asleep until 10pm. It also doesn't help that DS #1 has been fighting sleep like none other this week so I am so worked up from that it is hard to get to sleep.
