Stupid Wondfo evap lines...ETA picture

I had an IUI 2 weeks ago. Monday would have been blood work day but I started my period. I started testing with the wondfo cheapies at 9dpo. I got so many evap lines that I thought were faint positives. Some pretty dark, even with color. Not all the strips did it and they always did it past the 5 minutes. But some did it before 10 minutes so it made me wonder. I got some FRER and they were negative. But many people say the wondfos are more sensitive and told them first. So I spent 3-4 days testing and examining lines and having my hopes up then crushed. I was actually relieved when I started my period today because I didn't have to wonder anymore. Ready to try again this month.

Moral of the story...if you use these THROW THEM AWAY AFTER 5 MIN! Burn them. Whatever you have to do. They are not worth the false positive roller coaster ride!

    June 2014- HSG=clear

    DH: 27 (SA results were great minus the slightly low morphology)
    Started dating DH in 2002 at 14 years old
    Married on 03.01.2014
    Officially TTC since April 2014 
    January 2013- Surprise BFP, m/c at 6 weeks, D&C 2 Weeks later
    April 2014- First RE appointment
    July 2014- IUI#1-Canx due to scar tissue and polyps. TI with the help of Ovidrel. BFN

    August 2014- Hysteroscopy to remove scar tissue and polyp

    September 2014- IUI #1.1-100mg Clomid, Ovideral, 11.5 million swimmers=BFP

    EDD-6/3/15- Our sweet baby Ryan was born on 1/6/15 and is in the arms of an Angel

    Dx with IC on 1/6/15

    I'm sorry for all your stress. I've never had eval lines, but I know how hard it is to want to see something that isn't there. (((Hugs)))

    I have been through this on my past cycles. It can drive you crazy. I always fish them out if the trash later and squint to see if there's a teeny line. Better to wait for the beta but I've never been able to stop myself! I haven't bought any yet for my current cycle but I'll probably break down eventually.

    Official diagnosis: Unexplained IF. I am 32. I have low ovarian reserve (low AMH), and poor egg quality. I've also been diagnosed with mild glandular developmental arrest (lining problems, detected with EFT).

    We are using open ID donor sperm. IUIs #1-7=BFN. IVF September 2014 antagonist protocol, 8R,5M,3F, 5 day transfer of 1 morula = BFN. IVF#2 planned for January 2015 (antagonist protocol + HGH).

    I completely understand.

    The other day I broke a test a part bc I thought there was a line.  And then I saw why I always think there is a "faint" line.  It's really a little grove/line in the test where the positive would appear.  I swear it always catches the light (you know when I hold it up to the light and compare it to the paint in bathroom) and looks like a very very faint line.  Then I get my hopes up.  Sigh.

    And when I think of all the money I've wasted on pregnancy tests!  We could probably have gone on vacation!

    Evap lines are the DEVIL. Had this beauty last cycle. Never buying a blue dye test again. Eff them and their false hope.
