Ugh! I hate this part!...update

Background: 2 healthy boys- no problems (8 and 5). M/C 4.5 years ago and MMC at 10 weeks in February this year.
BFP yesterday (Sunday). 3w6d today. FRER today a little lighter than yesterday along with a positive digital (pregnant 1-2).
Today (Monday): beta HCG level 22 or 25 (I heard twenty something and not much else!) and progesterone 15. Both low...chemical? But then why the positive digital?

Wednesday: beta 31 (from 22). Not exactly the double I hoped for, but it's still rising. Taking the progesterone supplements. Fingers crossed for repeat beta on Friday.

I hate this part.

    At 4wks1day, my beta was 50, so if doubling time is taken into account, I may have been at 25 on 3wks6. Gotta start somewhere! My first few betas were between 13 and 17, so I don't think 15 is considered terrible-IIRC, my RE said they look for the number to be above 12.

    What matters most at this point is your second set of betas. Will you be going back? I actually went back 24 hours later, and the 48 hours the following time. Good luck and ((HUGS))!!

    Thank you all! No shortage of things to worry about, right?! My OB did prescribe progesterone and a repeat beta in 48 hours. Fingers crossed- and thanks for the support to this Bump newbie.

    Fx crossed for doubling betas! While I was waiting to repeat betas, I just kept repeating to myself, there is no reason to worry until there is reason to worry. It didn't help much, but it passed time.

    No advice here, but I'm in the same limbo you are. Had my first draw today, no results yet, and next one Wednesday. It sucks!! Good luck to you!

    The numbers have to start somewhere. Mine were pretty low at 4w too. Really the only thing that matters with betas is the doubling time. FX for doubling betas! As for progesterone I think mine was 12.5 this pregnancy at 4w exactly. The RE put me on supplements for first tri and so far baby is doing great.

    The waiting is hard. FX for you!

    ((((Hugs)))), sorry for the wait. If progesterone is too low, then maybe supplements? Keep us posted on the Betas.... I have read 25 will show positive on home PT. Fxd for doubling :-)

    I don't think your betas are low considering how early you are. As PP had said, they have to start somewhere!! FX for good doubling!

    My first betas were 15 at 10DPO, try not to worry about it too much. The next set to make sure they are doubling is what's important. Glad you were able to get the progesterone supplements too.

    FX for doubling betas for you.  

    I wouldn't worry about your progesterone.  Mine was also 15 when I got my blood test done, and I was a week farther along than you.  I got put on the progesterone supplements and it worked out fine.

    Congrats on your BFP! At 12dpo (3w4d) my beta was 26. 20-25 will turn most digitals positive. As the other ladies have said, it has to start some where. 15 isn't super low for progesterone. Every doctor has a different number they want to see. Mine prefers >20, but some are ok with 15. Glad you are on supplements just in case!
