This may be more for me than you, but thanks for reading anyway. I'm not much of a Facebook/social media venter, so this will have to do. I just need to see it in writing so I can whine to myself for a minute and get over it.
A combo of being exposed to more kid germs than usual the past few weeks, working in a hospital, steroids and antibiotics for the HSG, the HSG itself, and my sucky immune system = today's trip to urgent care where I was diagnosed with the following:
- bladder infection/UTI (thanks, HSG, sonogram, internal exam, etc. etc.)
- yeast infection (thanks antibiotics for the above)
- strep throat (who knows)
- sinus and ear infection (eff you, allergies)
It's been a great day. I count my blessings that none of the above issues are long-term ailments, but I also counted my medications and there are twelve pills in my daily pill counter for the next two weeks. Every day. I mean, no baby should even want to be inside me right now. What a frustrating Monday. Hope you ladies had a better one and even better week. Thanks for listening.

I hate to be the maw maw in the group but this is one of very few instances that wine is NOT an option. You have a UTI and are on antibiotics and you really shouldn't drink fermented grapes at this time. Now NyQuil is a good alternative to knock your ass out and wash it down with plenty of fluids.
