Baby got her eviction notice today!

Had my almost 40w appt today (40w tomorrow) and I'm still not dilated at all. ?Figures, psssshhhh! ?But my BP was high, but on the low end of being high. ?It's been like this for 3 weeks now and today was higher than the rest of the appt's so she's been given her official eviction notice. ?We go in Monday morning for a last minute growth u/s and induction in the afternoon. ?Weird to think that I now know the day that I'll be put into labor and possible day she'll be born (assuming the induction works, she'll probably be born Tuesday) ?Reality check! ?But this girl needs to get out of my 5 star rated uterus! ?Mom says so!?

    You know something I had that happen with my son 2 years ago I was not dilated at all & had no signs of going into labor any time soon. Well as soon as I gave him his eviction notice at my 40 week. He decided to come later that night. My doctor said to me "Couldn't wait, huh?"

    That's my boy.?

    This would be GREAT!!! ?I'm really hoping this happens, but if this girl is anything like me, she's super stubborn and won't even come out with an induction! ??

    Congrats on the induction date!  I just noticed that you live in Highland Mills.  MH grew up in Washingtonville and his family still lives there.  That area is soooo beautiful!

    Don't be so sure that you'll know when she's coming....I just got back from the hospital after 14 hrs of trying to be induced.  I am 40wks and 2 days, and went in yesterday at 6am for induction by pitocin because my amniotic fluid was low and baby's movement was less.  Well, they started the pitocin, and jacked it up every 20 minutes, eventually all the way up to 20.  Even though I had contractions over the hundreds, my cervix still didn't dilate more than 1.5 cm...which it had been for the past 3 wks.  So, then, they stopped the pitocin about 3:30pm for a few hrs to let my receptors rest or something, then started it up again about 8pm.  From 8pm-11pm same deal, jacking up pitocin, contracting, but still 1.5 cm!  The last time she checked me I was about 2cm and then she gave me the choice of popping the bag and trying again with the drug, or going home, and coming back Sunday to see if my body does something else.  So I went home.  And here I am, contracting slightly.  Good luck!
