My little peanut has arrived! Birth story(SaVi925)

Landon Beau is finally here! Born July 5th, 7lbs 3 oz, 19 inches long of pure perfection. I delivered him at 39 weeks and 1 day. I could not be more in love!
I went to L and D for intense pressure in my pelvis and contractions that were 10 min apart all day. They checked me and I was 2 cm and still very thick. Doc said that since my contractions aren't stopping then he would keep me a few more hours to see if they would change my cervix. I fell asleep and about 6 hours later he checked me again, I was 4 cm and 80%. He broke my water at 11:30am and admitted me. As soon as my water was broke my contractions were 3 min apart and gaining in intensity. I labored in the shower and on the birth ball until 3:00pm. Pain was getting worse so I got an epidural at 4:00pm when I was 5 cm. I have a slight curve in my spine so I had 3 attempts of the epidural until one finally took. That was more painful than my contractions! I rested until transition at 8:00pm. During transition, I felt everything, as though the epidural stopped working. I was checked and was 8cm and my body was starting to push for me. I pushed him out in 14 minutes and he was born at 8:55pm. Placed on my chest for skin to skin. I had a slight tear that required 1 stich. I have the worst spinal headache and my back is very bruised but he is worth it all!
