Crib bumper/ liner

I recently bought one of those mesh crib bumper/ liners. On the packaging it says to remove it once baby can sit up. So how do I keep my baby from hitting his head or sticking hands and feet through rails once it's removed?

Don't worry about it. Our dd is 16 months and we never used a bumper of any kind. She never has gotten stuck or hit her head and she is a busy sleeper. The risk that any bumper poses was absolutely not worth any potential benefit to us.

  • 11 month DS and we never used a bumper. It's safer without one.
