Mini pill ebf period

Hi ladies
So I started the mini pill last week and have been taking it at the exact same time. I ebf but my little guy can take up to 7 h stretches at night. I got my period yesterday and it's freaken heavy! Anyone have this happen? I'm only 7 w pp so I'm pretty annoyed!

    Yes. I started spotting the second day on it, and it got a little worse every day. I stopped taking it after about a week. Irregular bleeding is the #1 side effect. See the attn minipill users post below.

    I'm getting another IUD Thursday.

    Started mine last Sunday started bleeding Friday. Not real heavy normal but I never had real heavy periods before

    Yes! Could have written your post. EBF and got it at 7 weeks pp. I was pissed/couldn't believe it because I didn't have my period for over a year with my first!! Booo:)

    @smdukes‌ - did you also take the mini pill after your 1st? (If you don't mind sharing)

    @springbeduk2‌ - yes, I was on the mini pill with my first, started it at 6wks pp like this time. Exact same conditions with both. So I was def surprised! Kinda curious if it was a one time shot or if I'll get it monthly now? We shall see!

    Good to know - thanks! ( picked up my first pack yesterday but still kindof debating whether to take them... probably will because I truly hate all barrier methods .. but random bleeding and/or losing lactation amennorhea (sp?) sucks too. But we do want to try for another soonish I think so iud not in the plans for now...)

    I started a heavy period 1 week after starting the mini-pill. Thankfully, it only lasted 4 days then tapered  off to light spotting. Last time I was on the regular pill, like 7 years ago, I had a cycle were I bled non-stop for over 45 days, maybe more. It.was.hell.  X_X

    I am also EBF and got mine back at 7 weeks pp, one week after starting the mini pill. annoying.
