Party time...?

We do a big annual potluck picnic at our house. The first year, we did it in the late morning (I think 11am), and last year we did it around dinner time (5pm).

It's on a Saturday. This year I was thinking more like 3:30/4pm. What are your thoughts on that time...?

DD takes a nap around 1pm, so I'm hoping to get that in before guests arrive. We have food, the kids play in our park...we put out the sand table, sidewalk chalk, beach balls, and either a small pool or sprinklers (depending on the weather).
