Oh, wow. That's a LOT to have to go through to find out that all in all, she's actually okay. I'm glad she's fine, though. But SO sorry you had to go through that at the specialist.
We are fine...our ped didn't seem as concerned as yours (despite our numbers being the same or lower), so we are still plugging away at iron drops. Sawyer loves them too, despite, yes, the smell. I am not as good about getting them to him every day. We will find out if anything is changing at his 18 month appt. I just hope we don't have to go through what you guys did.
I was just thinking about you the other day and had to ask. I'm on iron pills myself again (because this mild anemia came from me), because I am pregnant again, and forgot how much they suck. I
@cece2682, S really was pretty okay during his. He had a little yelp when they pricked him initially, but when they were actually drawing the blood, he was more interested in what was going on. Hopefully your LO is like that!
