Checking into the hospital tomorrow night and being induced Monday morning. I did a hospital tour about 1 month ago but I've seemed to have forgotten everything they told me. Any other mommies out there that have/are being induced that want to give me another quick crash course of what to expect? Cervix is super soft, and thinned. LO is ready and really low. I was about 2cm on Wednesday. So nervous.
Thanks for any information!
Re: epppp! tomorrow is the day
This triggered loss of mucous plug and bloody show. Next they started me on pitocin at 1, not much progress so bumped up to 2. More progress and not too painful of contractions, but things weren't moving fast enough so upped to 3. That's when I thought I would die. My midwife and I thought I could handle without epi.
For some reason I got stuck around 9cm, in the transition phase which is conveniently the most painful stage. Just as I decided I was ready for the epi, they no sooner removed the needle and I was pushing.
3 pushes and baby girl was here.
I have nothing else to compare the pain to but I swore id never do without the epi again. 1 month out, I think I might try without epi again next time.
Good luck. It's such a scary/exciting ecperience.
