Last week I noticed my stomach was a lot lower that I could breath better and that I was having a lot of pressure down low. Is it normal to drop this early? Could it be something other than dropping? I go to the doctor Thursday!
Hello I alway read and never post. But I'm having a little boy and he was head down at 29 weeks. And I will see If he is still head down Wednesday when I go to the doctor. But they can turn but normal way.
Yup, normal! Often babies will start to stay head down around 31-33 weeks, causing more pelvic pressure, but less crowded ribs.
Does it mean she could come early?
We're not trained medical professionals. So, to ask us means you'll get a variety of answers, none of which are medically relevant.
Talk to your doctor for goodness sake.
Also...uhm...yeahhhh...don't exactly expect a warm, open-armed reception to your question if you can't take a few moments to introduce yourself to us.
You've basically just charged in to a virtual room and hollered out a random question without so much as a "handshake" hello.

This question was asked not to long ago on third trimester board. Anyway baby has not fully dropped into the full position at 33 weeks but baby is in position and getting ready. You will notice a huge difference when baby becomes engaged.
Holy cow how rude of all of you. Had I know there would have been such a up roar over a simple question I never would have bothered asking. There is clearly no emergency here and I go to the doctor Thursday I was well aware I would have lots of different opinions which is the exact reason I asked!! The forum part of my app hasn't worked until the last few days so I didn't know anything about it really. Now I don't care to use something so unwelcoming.
Thank you to the few ladies who simply just answered my question without passing judgment or being hateful! (:

OP, I experienced this baby dropping at about 30 weeks and it is normal.
Guys, I understand she hasn't been around the boards until now, but is all this snark really necessary?
Thank you! I mean I feel as if I offened everyone by asking a simple question just to see everyone's experiences. Of course I have googled it to see but I wanted personal opinions. She is still very active and no other signs so I am not worried or I would have already went to the doctor instead of waiting until my apt! I am just ignoring them now and I appreciate women still answering with there opinion and experience!
I'd recommend google and not a community to answer your question.
What exactly do I have no clue about?
I did google it. I asked her for actual answers from women who have experienced this previously and could give me there insight. I would def say that is what this community is for!
JFC. This kind of post would make complete sense on the 3rd trimester board where it's more of a free-for-all. Here? Most of us have been here the majority of our pregnancies. We've talked and gotten to know each other and bonded a bit.
Walking into this board at this point, with no introduction, to ask a question and then get mad about the results is about like inviting yourself to a random strangers party and expecting everyone to just welcome you in like they've known you forever. You don't get to throw a fit over people wondering who the hell you are.
Oh.my.lanta. How dare I ask a question on here on "the wrong" board or whatever you want to call it. I find how serious this is quite hysterical. I now understand you ladies have "formed a bond" and I have clearly walked into the group and offended some of you by my question. First of all I did not know I needed to introduce myself and explain my pregnancy to ask a question. I would have had no issue doing so I think it's awesome that's how things work here NOW that I am aware. Secondly, how about instead of being harsh and hateful you ladies simply ask me to do so or inform me that's how things work. Sorry to ruffle so many feathers ladies, not my intention.
Poor girl. Aren't we all here for the same thing? A little support and understanding? If she is new and didn't know the "rules" there are plenty of nicer ways to tell her. We are supposed to help each other not make each other mad and scared to post on a public forum.
Hey everyone I am Katie, due august 6, 2014 (is that a good enough intro??) and have never been a part of these boards either and can you all please cut this girl some slack? I am in the same boat and didn't think her question was out if line. I thought we were all here to support each other, not let out hormonal selves make us look bad.
You disgraceful women. I'm just posting my thoughts before deleting this app, so you can reply your hateful words, I won't be reading them, you really are a pack of wolves that must have nothing better to do with your time!!!! Get a life!! @Babyschwartz1 I wouldn't bother with this pack of dogs again! Find a nice bunch of girls who are willing to help and support each other, let these weirdos carry on!
Hmmm so you are saying you are bitchy either way? Nice example for our children.
@katiebee84 umm... You do realize @loislayn commented that all the snark was a tad unnecessary towards the OP, right? Perhaps you are a bit quick to bite yourself.
I am currently 33 weeks pregnant with my 2 nd child and I am having a boy. My mother in law said that my belly has always been low since 20 something week. But I also thought that boys carry low. My first one is a girl and my belly was high until I even gave birth.
