San Fran ladies, come in!

I am going to SF in late September with my sister and some friends for the Eagles -Niners game. We vrbo'd a townhouse in the Hayes Valley neighborhood. I have been to SF twice, but know nothing about this neighborhood except that it is supposed to be fun and is close to public transit. Any recommendations for restaurants or places to go in that area?

We have our flights, game tickets and we booked a winery tour. I cannot wait!

    I was looking more for stuff in that neighborhood because I am totally unfamiliar with it. If it was my H and I we would be going to nicer places. This is definitely more of casual group with an emphasis on lots of beer. So any recs for fun bars on the divey side would be welcome as well!
