Hypothetically, if you were to wear a cat like a baby, which carrier would you recommend, and why? Would you use a wrap? Soft structured carrier? Sling?
Oh, my scenario assumes that the cat is cool with it and certain precautions are in order as well (trimmed nails, possibly soft paws claw covers, thick clothing, etc).
Hypothetical cat agrees with the ring sling. Mei tai was easy to climb out of. Will try a SSC and Moby wrap later. Hypothetical cat hair isn't getting anywhere near my Ergo, which is the only one I actually use with LO.
It's in September and my cat is very laid back and loves people. Cats are welcome in carriers and on leashes. If I can get her 100% comfortable with the carrier in public by then, she will be on a leash and harness in the baby carrier, and we'll have a collapsible cat carrier in a backpack with us. "Training" is going to involve wearing her around the house a little each day, and then trips to the pet store that she's already familiar with. And if it doesn't work out, at least we tried, and we'll just have fun without her.

Wait, you're serious?!? LOL, I thought you were just bored. Then when you wrote "Internet Cat Video Festival" I thought you were joking.
PS) This sounds awesome PPS) My cats would not approve #PP
Re: Random silly questions for the baby-wearers.
