White Noise App

So I realized our sleep problem. WHITE NOISE! Usually I turn it on after DS falls asleep and lately he hasn't been getting to sleep very well. Just out of pure coincidence DH turned the vacuum on and boom! instant sleep. Then one day I was cooking and turned the hood fan on ... well you get the idea. Now I go to the kitchen and turn on the fan and he's asleep in minutes.

I love Sleep Pillow ... but its not on Android. Anyone have something comparable that is super great! DS loves motors - cars, fans, vacuums etc. I have White Noise lite or something, its awful.

Geez. Funny how we figure it out and be like 'of course!'

Re: White Noise App

  • I like Relax and Sleep.. I also have White Noise Baby but it doesn't work in background mode.

  • Loading the player...
  • Not an app but we use 'Music for Deep Sleep' from iTunes on repeat on one of our iPods or iPhones. Has been working well. It's rain and ocean sounds.
  • There's a white noise station on pandora also.
  • We have our computer in our room so we use YouTube and they have a lot of white noise videos that are 8-10hours long. Not sure if a computer is an option for you....or Bluetooth speakers? I tried the white noise lite app but I dont like it at all. (Have android)

The weird thing with YouTube is, and this just happened again about 10minutes ago.... I think YouTube adds in a random soccer commercial or something halfway through the sleep sound videos. It's creepy to hear the rain stop, then some 15 second song play, then go back to music. I thought I was crazy the first time and maybe dreamt it but this time I woke my husband and he heard it too. Plus, it is a different video than the one used the first time i heard it. (It is not part of the videos we've played...I checked).

  • Thanks you!

Yes we use an app with a blue tooth speaker! I just have it set onto a fan I think. I have it on all my devices in case :)
  • Relax Melodies. Free and they have a ton of sounds. Currently listening to a combination of 'white noise'
    And 'vacuum cleaner'

I have sound sleeper on my iPhone. We use the womb heartbeat to put DS to sleep. Works like a charm!

Ditto! I call this the baby whisperer! My girl loves it!
  • I like Sound Sleeper. It has pre programmed sounds, but you can record your own. LO likes the sound of bathwater running, so I added that to our app!
