    Eat well before, it may be a while. Also ask about when you can go ti the bathroom for the last time.

    Eat like a king, bring Chapstick, know that it will probably take longer than you think, make sure your support team rests through the night too, it's okay to get some pain meds before the epidural if it lets you get some rest as well.

    Definitely eat before. I couldnt get a meal because it didnt have time to be delivered and the Doc inserting it was only free for a brief few minutes before a c-section. And I sent my DH home to get a good nights sleep - nothing exciting happened, and it was better he was rested the next morning.

    I'm headed in tomorrow night to start cervidil too. Nervous (FTM)... So no advice, but sending you lots if thoughts and prayers. Good luck!!

    Oh, I also sent DH home to sleep for both of my inductions. No need for both of us to be exhausted.

    thanks for all the advice and thoughts. I was supposed to be induced with my DD but when I got to hospital , I was dilated so they broke my water at 9pm and by 9am I had her. So no cervidil was needed. Im hoping Im dilated by tomorrow evening but we shall see. Prayers for all the ladies in the same boat.

    I'm going in to be induced with cervadil tomorrow night too. My doc said no eating except for clear liquids after 12pm. I'm already hungry thinking about it. I'm a little nervous but I can't wait to meet her. I feel like for the last 9 months I've been holding my breath. I can't wait to know she is ok. Good luck to all induced moms tomorrow.
