oops? (baby food)

I think I used distilled water instead of nursery water to thin the homemade baby food. Do I have to throw it away?

Re: oops? (baby food)

  • I'm not a doctor but I would say no you don't have to throw it away. Nursery water contains fluoride which helps prevent tooth decay. To my knowledge distilled water doesn't have fluoride. ... it shouldn't really change your baby food. I've made all of my son's formula with distilled water. He's only 14 weeks and doesn't have any teeth.

  • There is no kind of water that's dangerous unless it's like, from a puddle in your yard, kwim?

  • I boil tap water in bottles and let it cool down. No need to buy special water.
