How are you feeling? Exhausted. The nausea is getting better, but I am so tired all the time. I really wanted to sleep in this morning but woke up super early. I'm having these epic dreams that make sleep not restful.
Appointments/Updates? I had my first midwife appointment last week and it went well. I'm liking the midwife model so far. Nothing medical happened though, so I'm really looking forward to my NT scan on Friday. We're waiting until after the ultrasound to announce more broadly.
Rants/Raves: I can't wait for Friday!!
GTKY: What did you do for Canada Day/ July 4th? We went to a friend's house for a BBQ. Other than that, nothing too exciting - I was exhausted (as usual) and spent the rest of the day on the couch.
How are you feeling? Nauseous. Ugh!
Appointments/Updates? No updates or appts this week
Rants/Raves: I'm just waiting for this nausea to go away. Also having some sleeping trouble because of it, so my schedule is messed up pretty bad.
GTKY: What did you do for Canada Day/ July 4th? I sat at home. ): DH had to work so I didn't have any plans.
Week/Fruit: 13 weeks!!! Yeah! Peach
How are you feeling? Okay. But still sick in evenings, slight insomnia and frequent headaches.
Appointments/Updates? Had my ultrasound Thursday!!!! Went so well, there IS a baby in there
Rants/Raves: went strawberry picking with my daughter yesterday so today is strawberry jam making! Kind of random but i love homemade jam
GTKY: What did you do for Canada Day/ July 4th?
We had company up the weekend before- but the Tuesday (the 1st) my hubby had to work. Daughter and I had a lazy day at the beach, French fries and swimming. Pretty sweet.
How are you feeling? Last week was awful. I actually threw up which I haven't he entire pregnancy. I'm feeling great today.
Appointments/Updates? My next appointment is in 3 weeks. Heard the heart beat on the doppler at 12 week appt. doc says everything's good.
Rants/Raves: so glad I'm feeling better.
GTKY: What did you do for Canada Day/ July 4th?
We brought some furniture to my parents to clear out the nursery. What should have been an a hour trip turned into a 3 hour trip because the interstate was shut down. So we went swimming and H drank beer by ourselves at my parents.
Week 14, Baby's a Lemon!!
How are you feeling?
Generally really really good. I still have these moments where I get super tired/lazy/grumpy and only want to go to bed. Usually brought on by too many activities earlier in the day.
Appointments/Updates?
Just had an appt Monday at 13w2d. Baby looks fantastic. Got to hear the heartbeat. Apparently peanut has some huge feet (here's to hoping it's a boy then :-P).
Rants/Raves:
Next weekend will be my THIRD weekend in a row working. How the frickin frack did my schedule get sooo jacked up ?!?!
GTKY: What did you do for Canada Day/ July 4th?
Nothing. Hubby was on duty. So I started organizing stuff in the nursery. Then scrapbooked and cooked my first zucchini from my garden. Nom nom.
Feeling: Awful. I think I may take my first Zofran. I've been trying to hold out.
Update: Finally had my first appointment. Everything went well.
Rant/Rave: we just had family pictures taken with my parents and siblings. So excited to see how they turn out.
GTKY: we had a family day for Independence Day. Dampened by my husband's stupid/annoying/rude female friend who couldn't get the hint to get lost at the fireworks, and by a barrage of bad news.
How are you feeling? Tired but overall I'm doing well
Appointments/Updates? Monday is a regular appointment but I'll get to hear #2's heartbeat
Rants/Raves: a heat wave followed by a Fourth of July hurricane made for a tough weather week
GTKY: What did you do for Canada Day/ July 4th?
On the 4th we took LO to a makeup swim class then had an inside picnic and movie lunch. We saw fireworks on the 3rd and have BBQs all weekend

Update:
Appt tomorrow! Should get to hear heartbeat so that's exciting. Also going to ask about my horrid sinus issues so hoping for some improvement there

I cannot breathe and I'm so tired but awake at 4:22 am

Dd is so cute about becoming a big sister

Family came to visit from Iowa for the 4th and it was awesome. No fireworks though as we have been having thunderstorms
