Remind me how to gif from my phone and I will. :-/ We are going to a party tomorrow night that will include tons of illegal fireworks, so that'll be fun. >:)Then the rest of the weekend seriously needs to be devoted to cleaning because my in laws arrive on Tuesday evening.

I'm making 2 batches of rolls and a pasta salad today and then we're headed to my parent's house to help them get ready for their bbq tomorrow. Horseshoe tournament!

DH finally has a day off today, so we're going to my parents for a cookout later, then my mom is watching DD so we can take my dad's truck and park in the country to watch fireworks in the town over from ours. I plan on bringing every blanket and pillow that we have, kicking back & drinking. I'm sure the rest of our weekend will be spent cleaning and doing yardwork.

We've been on the road all morning. Now to get to the hotel and then find a place to let the kids run around. Fireworks are the plan tonight if we can find some that aren't too late.

Spending the weekend at my parents house with the boys. It's raining all weekend, which is such a bummer because I was really looking forward to the parade and fireworks this year with them. Guess there is always next year

DH had to work, but we drove down to BIL/SIL's house to play by their pool with all of the kids' aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents. I realized after the fact that I drove 6 hours for 3.5 hours of fun and family, so if we do it again next year, I'm definitely going to force us out on the road earlier! Our neighbors are all setting off a ton of fireworks now, and Sophia is LOVING them.

We went to the parade in the rain this morning. L had so much fun collecting all the candy and such. Then naps all around and fun at my uncles house. L made us go swimming even though it was chilly, we ate everything under the sun, and I didn't realize how late it was until we were pulling chairs into the street to watch fireworks.

L was a champ and hung out all day, watched fireworks, and didn't melt down until we were in the car. She is having a HFM breakout so her feet are bugging her, but nothing else seems to be.

We are all on our way to bed and more food and chilling tomorrow.

@mississippicatfish we had 2 other grills for burgers and dogs too. So much food! I think we had 70 or so people. Less this year than normal because of the hurricane threat.

@flamingemu I've never even seen a grill that big, lol!!

The weather was rainy yesterday, but cleared up late in the afternoon, so we did our own little family bbq at home & then went to see fireworks.

Today was my mom's bbq. We were going to see fireworks again, but I was just ready to come home, so that's what we did.

Tomorrow I think we're going to my IL's. (sad face)
