Anyone else's LO having a hard time with this? DS has been a mess the last few days. His sleep schedule is all weird and he is crying a bunch in the evening. I got on my WW app today and apparently he is in a stormy period. It is rough!

Yep! DD has been super cranky and clingy this week! We went from a partial nursing strike on Monday to nursing every hour the past two days. Between the lack of napping and her not letting me put her down, I haven't been able to get anything done. Hopefully it's almost over!!

DD2 only had three days of craziness this leap, but I'm not sure if it was the leap, the growth spurt, or both.

The past two days have been like this for us. He still has 4 days until his next leap but I think he has always hit them a couple days early (though this is earlier than normal). Usually it's only lasted 3-5 days or so so hopefully he will be back to normal soon.

We've been at it for two days and I hate it. He went from happily sleeping 8pm-6:30 am to waking up every few hours. Sometimes just fussing, but sometimes hungry. His naps have been a joke and he eating like he's starving!

It seems like DD is going into leap 3 and she is right on schedule. She has been more cranky today and yesterday and would not nap unless being held or in her swing. Luckily it seems like this leap is a short one!

We're just coming to end of leap 3 and my gosh, lo has been a disaster. First 3 days he fussed all day, day 4 & 5 were good, and today he's been feeding non-stop and sleeping. He's maybe been awake for 4-5 cranky hours. It's like he's going through a growth spurt at the same time. Double whammy! Only a few days to go...

They are able to move in a more fluid motion, head control is better, and they are more aware of their surroundings (turn head towards sounds/voices, etc). There's more to it than that, but that's the basic stuff.

I actually haven't really noticed much of a change in LO with this leap and we only have 3 or 4 days left of it, according to the app. Maybe he hasn't gone through it yet? Or maybe it's just not a big deal for him. Leap 2 was really tough! I did feel like he hit the 12 week growth spurt like crazy earlier this week, but that has seemed to even out.

This leap was easy for us, and I"m super excited about his new skills. He can deliberately grab toys and other things now, scoot himself around on his back, and best of all, giggle when we raspberry his cheeks!
