As many of you knew, our smaller twin was to go in for surgery 14 hours away from our home. He underwent a 4 1/2 hour surgery today and is now in recovery and resting comfortably. He is scheduled for another in August and then again in about six months as it was much more sever than they anticipated. He is a strong little boy and I know he will recover quickly.
We have had the most amazing team of surgeons and staff working with us and they have taken such great care of our son. I haven't been dealing with the news of more surgeries very well given the severity of them but they have been so wonderful in explaining everything I such detail to us.
I thought I was mentally prepared for this but it really threw me for a loop for sure! I entered my little guys in a photo contest with our local photographer today for their birthday while I was waiting for his surgery finish up. If you have a second I would love for you to click on the link and give them a like

I will keep everyone updated through his recovery and surgical processes! You ladies were beyond supportive through out my pregnancy and it just means so much to know I have a group of amazing women to vent to as I go through this as well. So I just wanted to say thank you to everyone!
