To my MIL...shut the F up and let my DH, your son, drive!! He is quite capable of following directions from his father. I'm cringing with every word she is mumbling under her breath!! Enjoy your company, we drove from Tx to Vegas and don't want to hear you complain!! Mind the snide comment I heard her say about us having another one "they don't need another damn kid" (yep I heard it) We haven't even told her yet!! Sorry for the long rant, I could go on and on about my loving, sweet MIL.
Re: Dear Backseat Driver!!! (rant)
Now FX I make it through dinner (keep the sharp utensils away)
My MIL is overbearing in a good way. It is the opposite problem. She calls every day to check on me, but it kinda makes me dread her call. Like, just let me go on about my days trying not to think about how I feel every second. Just let me be!!!!!
My mom is the complete opposite, but just as overbearing. She thinks that babies should be spaced 5 years apart. She has yet to be excited over one of my pregnancies. I mentioned wanting another baby when we moved into our house 6 months ago and she's like, "But (DS) is still so little! Let him be a baby a little longer." He's 2. He is going to be fine.
