Just curious as I see my LO getting more efficient, but still want to try my best to make sure she gets what she needs without letting my own impatience cut her off early!
I have a super efficient eater. Even as a newborn he never ate longer than 10-15 minutes. Now he's down to 5-7ish minutes. It's awesome. DS1 would take forever.
DD is a one-sided eater and it takes her 10-15 min to drain the boob. For her bedtime feeding, though, I let her nurse to sleep which takes about 30 min.

DD nurses 5-10 minutes, one sided feedings. Sometimes it's less than 5, sometimes more than 10. I think I have a pretty fast flow since when I pump I've pretty much gotten all I'm going to get after 6-7 mins no matter how much longer I pump
My LO has been doing only one side each feeding since he was born. Now he takes about 7 or 8 minutes every 2-3 hours, and during the night he only takes about 5 minutes and then he's back to sleep.

To be honest, a lot of comfort sucking goes on while he nurses usually. It's so cute so I let it go on for a bit. But active eating still hits around 20 minutes.
And he eats all the time. During the day every 45 minutes to 2 hours, unless he has a massive nap. That's why he's gaining a pound a week, I guess....

About 10 min each breast I've used to feed on one breast but I got mastitis and the antibiotics decreased my supply on one breast so now he goes on both
Roughly 10 min per side, sometimes he does only 3-5 on one side but then he'll want the boob again in an hour. Lately, before bed, he's been doings fathom sessions on one side, about 15 min & then anothe 7-9 min on the other side.

Yeo, I'm in the same boat! Pretty sure we're going through the 3 month growth spurt right now.
