how long does your LO nap during the day

i'm trying to feed LO on demand now rather than every 2-3 hours (i used to wake her during the day) but am noticing that she'll nap for as long as 3-4.5 hours.  is this normal....?  i'm getting worried that she may sleep "too much" during the day.  LO is about 5 wks old.

    As long as you're not having issues with LO sleeping at night, she's gaining weight, has enough wet and dirty diapers, you're ok letting her sleep.  Most moms I know though will wake their LOs if they nap past 3 hours.  I never had that problem with my LO... he's a cat napper  :-/

    I thought I should be waking my little guy after a few hours to feed as well but I'm feeding on demand and I quickly learned to not wake a sleeping baby.  They'll wake up when they're hungry without a doubt so don't stress out if all else with weight and diaper output is alright!

    As PP said- if she's sleeping at night then you're fine. If she's waking often at night she may have her days and night flipped.
