Stomach Flu

FTM here, just caught a stomach flu from a friends little 16 mo son. Any recommendations to keep my baby safe while I get over this? I'm keeping down liquids not much solids and have a low grade fever often.

    If you are able to keep down liquids, that's huge.  For now, just focus on staying hydrated - the solids will stay down once the bug has run its course.  Can you ask your doctor for Zofran for vomiting?  Really, I think just liquids, rest and time are about all you can do, but I would definitely call your OB in the morning to see if they have any other suggestions.  Hope you feel better soon!

    Thanks I haven't vomited in awhile so don't think I need meds for that. In all honesty the fever scares me more than anything.

    Nothing like making morning sickness more interesting like throwing in a fun flu bug :((

    How high is your temp?  You can take Tylenol if it's making you uncomfortable or if you're achey and can't sleep.  Steer clear of ibuprofen (Advil) or pretty much anything else, but Tylenol is safe.  Stomach bugs suck at any time, but especially when you're already feeling crappy from first tri symptoms.

    Highest I measured was about 101 but I've been taking Tylenol today for it. I miss Advil, it always helped with my headaches way better.

    Thanks it passed the next day my fever was gone and I've balanced out. Thought my morning sickness was bad before but now I'm thankful! Lol
