What are your weekend holiday plans?

We have a BBQ and fireworks tonight and are invited to another BBQ tomorrow. Not sure I'm up for all the commotion. Plus, we're finishing some landscaping over the weekend, gotta take advantage of the rare time off!

Parade, then BBQ and swimming, then nap, then fireworks downtown, then little fireworks with DH's cousins! Although my mom is just SURE I am going into labor tomorrow, so maybe none of the above....

We are doing some local activities with DD. It's our last weekend as a family of three. She's excited for fireworks and parades.

I plan on putting DH to work to. This place needs to be in tip-top shape!

It's our 7th dating anniversary today! We're going to the town festival and fireworks tonight to celebrate, and then tomorrow we're going to take it easy and BBQ with the puppy and enjoy our last holiday alone.

Nothing. My EDD was today, so we didn't make any plans. I'm sure we'll figure something out so DS has something to do. Maybe a bike ride with DH (and I'll meet them at a park with DD in the car).

Nada. All family is 5 hours away. DH and I will likely enjoy some movies since it'll be our last opportunity to go for awhile. Oh and I bought 4th of July cupcakes with sprinkles today. I think that counts, right? <:-P

BBQ and fireworks tonight with my parents (my dad has to work tomorrow). Might go see the MIL tomorrow for more fireworks and BBQ.

Somebody has to be on lookout duty at my parents place tomorrow night since last year their asshole neighbors set the backyard on fire. If my mom has plans i might volunteer so i can stay indoors and chill.

Lots of sex, walking and bouncing on the birth ball for the weekend. I want this baby out and my doc is working the hospital Mon-Wed. She said she would love to see me come in, lol.

No real exciting plans. DH and I are hoping to shop for a new king-size mattress tomorrow (our current mattress we've decided is way too small even though it's queen, and even though it's Tempurpedic it's been killing me and it's making DH's snoring worse if anything.)

And I'm supposed to work Saturday, so the rest of the weekend will be working, grocery shopping, and laundry. Yay. Provided baby doesn't decide to come early on me. If that happens then that'll blow any possible plans out of the water, of course.

I'm desperately hoping this baby is born tomorrow. ..The 4th has always been my favorite day of the year!

Every year DH and I drive out of state and buy a few thousand dollars of fireworks and have a HUGE party. Kegs, food and fireworks. We postponed it this year and I'm glad we did but it'd be awesome to have a 4th of July baby. I guarantee if we went ahead with our party I'd probably go into labor!

We'll go into the city to celebrate and watch the big fireworks somewhere but that's not nearly as much fun. Plus 70 family members and friends have to find alternate activities this year too, haha.

Happy 4th...and please remember to put your dogs inside if you go away. The fireworks really scare some and they'll run off!

That sounds like a blast! Personal fireworks are illegal here! Also, yes about the dogs, I also recently saw an article about being respectful of vets who are dealing with PTSD, the 4th can be very traumatic for them with personal fireworks going off at random times.

We really thought we would be having a baby today or tomorrow (still could!) so we aren't doing anything. Staying home tonight and tomorrow there will be the tail end of the hurricane coming through.

We seriously are banking on the baby coming this weekend!!

BBQ with my parents but now it's supposed to rain all day so I may have a lazy day with DH and just cuddle my puppies bc they'll be scared of the storm/fireworks. Just glad I'm not working!

Going to see a movie tomorrow with DH, then swimming and BBQ at my parents afterwards. We normally go to the city fireworks, but it's really crowded and loud, so I think we'll settle for a more low-key celebration!

Fireworks tonight - DS will be in bed but I can see them from my house. Tomorrow we'll go to the pool and grill something for dinner. Since there's no way this kid is staying up tonight, we'll do sparklers tomorrow night.

No plans. My parents are in town to see DD so I'll just stay home with them. DH decided to go into work since we didn't have plans and can't really go anywhere where our friends have things going on. I think Sat his family is supposed to have a cookout, so we will see how that goes. I wish I could just stay home, honestly.

My parents are out to help us get last minute stuff done around the house so tomorrow will consist of yard work for DH & my dad while mom & I do stuff in the house. We will be grilling out for dinner and possibly going to the fireworks!

I was supposed to work...BUT doc took me out and put me on maternity leave as of yesterday. We're gonna go over to SIL's house for BBQ, treats, and set off fireworks with the family.

DS went to my parents for the weekend so DH and I declared today a pajama day and have been relaxing and watching movies. Tomorrow we plan to work around the house, Sunday we have a picnic, Monday is my birthday, and Tuesday our twins will be born. Enjoying the calmness before all hell breaks loose next week!!!
