I have my own office with a lock on the door. We also have a new lactation room/candidate testing room available. I'm thinking I will be more comfortable in my office pumping than lugging everything up to a different floor and finding someone else already using the lactation/testing room. What do you think??

Haha, 'Pump and Bump'!
Using your own office sounds way more convenient than going to another room. Even though you have a lock, I would still put a note on the door, so you don't get bothered with people jiggling the handle then knocking, etc...

Do what makes you most comfortable. Unfortunately, I work in a cube farm (offices with doors are upper management only), so I will have a dedicated space in the office area not currently being used. We're a smaller satellite office of a very large company.
If I had my own office, I would use that. When I had DS, I worked for another company and they had a dedicated lactation room, which was really nice. It had a sink, comfy chair, fridge, books, etc.

Our nursing relationship didn't last long enough the first time for me to pump at work. I have high hopes for this go 'round and it's good to read about the logistics of things.
Thanks ladies!
