Graco Classic Connect Snugride 30 question

There's a 2 on the front of my car seat base, and a 3 on the front of my husband's base.  Anyone know what these numbers mean?  I just noticed it yesterday when we went to install them...

    It is the height adjuster for the base. It makes the car seat the correct recline in the car. Look in your manual to install correctly.

    OP, in case you weren't aware, Graco expanded its buckle recall to its infant seats  yesterday.  You should make sure yours is the newer version and if not, request a new one :)

    Thank you SO much!!  We installed the bases, and have appts to get them checked next week, but this info helps - I wasn't aware of height adjustment!

    And, I appreciate the note on the recall too - very awesome of you - I checked out my car seat and it was made in Nov 2013, so we are safe there.
