Hello, everyone! Since I have been lurking for the past 6 months, I decided to finally join in on all the fun. I have read the newbie blog, and I promise to always behave myself. My husband and I have been married since May 2013, and have been trying to conceive since then.Obviously, it has been over a year since this journey began. I just recently began to use FF. I am terrible at temping, but I am trying to make that work. Prior to temping, DH and I used a form of NFP. (I know, I know. This is not always a popular decision.) And just because I am socially awkward and don't know what else to say, here are three random facts about me!
1. I am incredibly shy in person. I could possibly be the poster child for introversion. I also have a degree in sociology (the study of human social behavior). Irony in its truest form.
2. I have been dating my husband since I was 14 years old, and he was 16 years old. We look incredibly similar, and people think that we are siblings everywhere we go. (We aren't.)
3. Between the two of us, we have 10 siblings (possibly 11, but that's a different story.) They range in age from 2 years old to 26 years old. Family is fun.
Thank you for having me, and I hope to get to know everyone soon.

Re: Introduction
Starting to temp is great. I do want to say that if you've been trying over a year and have been having regular sex during that time, it's not out of line, if you want to and are comfortable with it, to seek a consultation or get a referral to a RE just to talk about options.

Hello! Welcome
I, too, am terrible at temping. This is my first month trying it out and I got a cheap thermometer. SO if I don't get a BFP, I will be investing in a better one. Also, I have seriously considered setting an alarm to wake me up before I have a chance to start tossing and turning which, no doubt, has affected my temps. It's pretty bad when FF says that your temps are too "inaccurate" to develop any kind of pattern.
I am NOT shy by any stretch of the imagination. My husband and I dated for 9 months before getting married and combined we have 4 siblings...so we are pretty much opposite in those regards! HAHA! So glad you're here, hopefully we both get to move on to the "other side" very soon! :-*
A short LP is for sure reason to seek the guidance of an RE if it's been over a year with good timing...glad to hear you are headed down that road! FX that things move quickly from here!
