Baby fever for #2!

Hi all,

I'm new here and wanted to say hi. I'm the momma to a beautiful, funny, strong-willed one and a half year old and I have wicked baby fever again. DH and I always wanted our children to be close in age like we are with our siblings and we both feel ready to welcome another (and most likely, our last) baby. Of course, we know it may not happen right away, but we plan to start TTC in September (a 27th birthday gift to myself.) Hopefully it will be as easy as the first time around! In the mean time, I'm really focusing on getting in shape and enjoying the summer with my girl. Any other 2nd time mom-to-be hopefuls?

    Welcome!  I originally wanted kids close in age but it wasn't meant to be!  Now I'm hopeful that when #2 joins us my DS will be at least 3 and hopefully potty trained!  The older he gets, the more ok I am with a gap than I was when he was itty bitty :)

    This. I wanted my children close in age but now that LO is 1, I cant imagine TTC yet. Im enjoying my time with my son and will think about trying in a year or two. Good luck and have fun ;)

    My son will be 1 in a few days. I originally wanted to wait until he turned 2 to try for a 2nd but that seems so far away!

    Same here! My daughter is almost 17 months and I have had it bad for the last couple of months. We have just started to consistently trying for #2

    I've got the fever, too. My son just turned two. The plan is for me to get a higher paying job with good benefits and to get myself back in better shape before getting pregnant. I've been exercising more and have an interview on Wednesday for said job, so hopefully we are getting that much closer to baby #2!
