Mamas with IPads

I have an Apple related question. There are a few articles online I want to read but would like to save them for a road trip we are taking this weekend. Is there a way to save them to my iPad so I won't need the internet to access them?

I'm not too tech savy but I believe you can save to iBooks & access it there later, similar to downloading a book. Google to be sure!
