I know we have our bitchfest and what made you cry boards, let's have a what made you happy board!
I haven't gotten to spend much time together since he's trying to work as much overtime as possible to save money. The other day we both had off work and went shopping for all the big things we still needed for baby. We got to spend literally a whole day together and even when work called to try and get him to come in he said no he had important things happening.
I think it's really cute when my husband talks to the baby. We were at a military ball on Friday, and when they proposed a toast to the ladies, he made a point to toast "his ladies," tipping his glass at my belly too.
I put our baby swing together and DS kept going over to it and saying "baby" and gently phishing it. He wil also come over and lift my shirt and say "hi baby" and give my belly a kiss. Makes me smile every time!
I've been complaining about my toenails and sore feet lately. H came home after cashing his paycheck the other day, hands me $40, and tells me to get a pedicure. I suspect it's so he won't have to do it, but it makes me very happy anyway.

I'm super pumped today since I just found out I got promoted! Totally would've thought they weren't going to since I would be going on leave, etc. I know its illegal to do that but still.... but now DH and I get to celebrate tonight. And DH is adorable and sent flowers to the office already saying how he and the baby were so proud of me. Adorable!
When I got home from my baby shower the other day, my dog was so excited to see me that as soon as I sat down he jumped up on my lap. He's 85 lbs and I don't have much of a lap, so it was a little awkward, but it was so sweet. He's very attached to my husband, so it was nice to get some puppy love.
We have a potluck today at work and I got to order the cake for it. I ordered a chocolate cake with white frosting and strawberry filling. I'm very excited about eating a piece after lunch.
I typically take a nap as soon as I get home from work and then do dinner and dishes. We had church last night and I normally do a simple dinner those nights so I can still get my nap in. Well due to poor planning I started dinner as soon as I got in from work but dinner was done and ate in time for a nap still. I was planning on washing the dishes after church but my husband woke me up and he had done them while I napped!
My really good friend has been struggling to get pregnant for the last year and she has been super excited for me and supportive throughout my pregnancy despite her issues. Well she just found out that she is pregnant!! I know it's still so early, but she got to see her little sticky baby on the monitor for the first time today. She is 8 weeks. That makes so happy!!!
We are one stop closer to having at least one project done! Concrete laid for new garage! Very happy.
Sunday I got up at 7am and went out to an antique fair after a long day on Saturday. Didn't stay long at fair because I felt so sick. Went back home and slept for 2 hours. DH came in our bedroom at noon and cuddled with me:) He has not been very physical this entire pregnancy so it was really sweet.
Despite working two jobs, and having other things that need to be done, DH was such a trooper last night.
We're doing couple's therapy (just ironing out some stuff), and, we had a great session. After that, we went to a tasty Indian restaurant and just sat and talked. Then we ran over to Michael's, where he was super supportive as I picked out letters, agonized over Mod Podge, and he was even willing to stand around while I looked at scrap booking paper while I rambled on and on about how I potentially wanted to decorate the letters for her name and we talked about all the cute little baby things we wanted to do and get for her. Then he got excited and said he wanted to make our friends and family guess the baby's name by posting the letters to FB in a jumble.
THEN he went, no complaints, to Home Depot with me (where he works his second job) and listened to me agonize over paint colors for our bedroom/baby's room.
It was the first time we've done anything "normal" like that in over a month.
Oh, and when he got home on Friday after being out of town for work for 3 days, he brought me lavender roses.
SOMETIMES I think I'll keep him. LOL!

I just have one.. But it is making me insanely happy: FI's ex signed the divorce decree!! Court date is Monday morning and his divorce will be final AT LAST.
DH had been trying to get our 16 month old to "kiss" the baby, so he's always kidding my belly. And he talks to her sometimes. Best of all, last night I was so uncomfortable, and he started running my hips. Without being asked.
My LO did a full rotation and every time before that she moves and DH tried to do feel her, she stopped. Yesterday, he could see her move. Great moment.
We're heading up to my family's cottage this weekend, just us & the dog, so I'm psyched for that We haven't been up since early February (yay snowshoeing on the lake!), then before that was Thanksgiving! I soooo can't wait to go swimming! I think I'll live in the water the whole time.
