Breast preference

Do your LOs have a breast preference like mine?

Anyone have a theory as to why?

    Yep. The right offers more milk and the left doesn't come down fast enough. He squirms on the left so much he almost pulls the nip off.

    I thought it was due to nipple shape, but let down of milk makes more sense. Thanks everyone!

    At first she perfered the right because she had trouble latching on the left but now she always wants the left. Especially if she's tired and wants to go to sleep eating. This caused mastitis on my right side so now I try to pump it at least once a day to make sure it's getting drained since she spends so much more time on the left.

    @Hbird05 I'm so glad you mentioned pumping the less preferred breast more to avoid mastitis. I didn't think about this- thank you!
