Howdy (intro)

Hi! I've been lurking for a few weeks now and decided I better stop being a creeper and make myself known. So here I am! That's it.


Jk, I've got more. I grew up in Texas, met DH at college (Texas A&M), married after graduation, moved to Orlando, moved to Charlotte, and here we will stay for the foreseeable future. We'll be married 4 years next week and decided a few months ago we were ready to start TTC. I think DH has been ready for longer than I have, he has said crying babies don't bother him, and that he finds them funny (?). I stopped taking the pill in Feb, started temping, using FF, and lurking here. But I lurk no longer!

    Welcome.
    Son: Jackson, 11/02/06, stillborn due to PPROM and IUGR. Over the next ten years we had 9 miscarriages from 8-14 weeks. On May 18, 2016 my daughter, Ridley, was born. We're OADNBC.

    Together since April 2004.  Married since June 19th, 2010.
     BFP #1: January 31st 2012: CP. 
     BFP #2: June 1st 2012, Due:2/8/13. Avery was born via unplanned c section on 2/13/13. 
     BFP #3: Sept. 25th, 2014. Due: 6/5/15.  MMC on 10/23/14. Confirmed complete molar pregnancy per D&C 10/29/14, 
    HCG officially negative 12/10/14.  Benched until June 2015.

    DX (me): Inborn error of metabolism - protein restriction, metabolic formula & weekly blood tests
    DNA Results (7/1): DH is NOT a carrier for my genetic disorder! 
    7/3: Metabolic clinic gave the green light to TTC - holy crap!

    Well hello, my fellow Texas native! I'm from Dallas, went to Kilgore and UT Tyler. Now I'm out in Virginia. I have 2 cousins currently at A&M, one just graduated this year and was in the Corp. So, by default, I am an aggie fan  :D Welcome! Glad you are here! What brought y'all out to the east coast? My husband is in the Navy, so, we were forced. This is our first month TTC, so hopefully we both get to move to the "other side" soon!

    I am from Georgetown and my husband is from Fort Worth. His job took us to Orlando, and then Charlotte. I never thought I would end up living on the East Coast! Good luck to you!

    How do you like it? I'm not a fan. It doesn't help that we have ZERO family out here, which is a big deal to me.

    We like Charlotte a lot, but it is hard that all our family is so far away. Mine was actually visiting this past week, which is why I've been MIA! We have found that in Charlotte at least, people are just as friendly as in Texas, and you get that southern hospitality thing that Orlando is missing.
