dizziness during 1-hr glucose test?

I don't remember the 1 hour glucose test being a problem with DD, but I felt pretty dizzy this time around. I was the closest I've ever been to passing out while they drew my blood. Just wondering if this is "normal" or if I can expect results saying I have to go back to do the 3 hour?

    your little girl is adorable!!!

    i felt dizzy during the glucose tolerance test...i think because i had an empty stomach and low iron levels at the time.  but i passed the test and did not have to go for the three hour.  hth.

    I was dizzy and in a cold sweat the first time, but I passed with "perfect" results according to the doc.

    I then went home and barfed and had the worst migraine ever...fun!

    i don't know if i felt dizzy or just all sugared up....but i didn't feel normal.

    Yep. I think that is normal. I didn't have it for my first pregnancy but my 2nd I did. I passed both times.

    Good to know that the dizziness and headache are "normal" :) Hopefully it means I passed then!

    Yep, I felt that way, too.  I almost passed out.  Then I remembered I had a banana in my purse.  I ate that real fast after the blood draw, while I was waiting for the doctor, and I felt better.  I passed, so hopefully you will, too.
