Intro

I think I have seen a few of these around here.

Hi-- I am HHB and I am new to single parenting.  I am technically still married, but my STBXH and I are moving forward with divorce preceedings, and I hope that maybe the divorce will be final by the end of the year.  The divorce is not mutual (I initiated) but he is being civil.

A little about me: I grew up and live in the NYC metro area, I am a full time working mom and DD and I currently are staying with my parents until I can figure out what my next move is.  I mostly hang on the OaD board and the BNB.

I am not very good at writing these-- so if I am missing anything feel free to ask-- hope you will have me!

    Welcome, glad your divorce is civil. Ive seen you around on the baby names board. Which is the oad board? I cant remember.

    What is your stance on harry potter, ranch, and who is your celeb crush.

    Oh boy.

    I have never read any of the Harry Potter books, or seen any of the movies (ducks).

    Ranch as in ranch dressing?  Love it, though I don't eat it too often.

    My current biggest celebrity crush is Jon Hamm-- though I also really like Jimmy Fallon, John Krasinski, Jason Segal and Mindy Kaling

    Ranch seems to be a big thing in all of the boards-- I am sure I am missing an inside joke or two, though.

    Is it really? I don't travel around to other boards, my BMB is full cranky bitches that like to pick fights so I haven't been back there since I was maybe 7 or 8 months prego.

    Yes!  I have seen it mentioned a ton.

    The inside joke about ranch started with a bat shit crazy poster named @springs1 who trolls the internet for posts about tipping and ranch.

    But here on sp its becauae i used to like ranch now it grosses me out because of my xh.

    I approve your celeb crushes btw.

    Welcome! We're in a pretty similar position martially speaking. He's not quite civil though. I'll overlook your lack of HP knowledge. Haha.
