  We have one that came with the bedding and registered for 3 more.  We have a convertible crib, so this is going to be Sam's bed for a while.

  I had 3 for DD#1 and that worked out just fine. You could probably even get by with 2.

  depends on how often you do laundry... if a lot- then you don't need as many... if not so often- then you'll need more.

  also- if your child will be in daycare you'll need more for there, too.

  depends on the daycare..mine provides sheets....

  we have 4 or 5...but they were $4 at Target so I think I got more than I really needed....

  I have no problem doing laundry regularly, so I will probably just stick with what I have. I can always grab more after she is here! Thanks for the quick responses!

  we have 3 regular sheets and 2 ultimate crib sheets.  i plan to put the ultimate sheet over a regular one - that way if there's a mess in the middle of the night, i can just whip off the top sheet without having to remake the bed.
