Surprised I haven't seen this posted yet... Unless I missed it. Nonetheless Happy Canada Day to my fellow Canadian Bumpies!
How did you spend Canada's 147th Birthday?
We spent it on the road! We are on our way to Owensboro, Kentucky from Ontario, Canada. Stopped for the night in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Going to celebrate the 4th of July with our American family. They haven't met DS yet. Should be a good week/weekend to come.

We went down to the beach and watched the super lame parade. Then just hung out on the beach for a while, had a picnic and traumed DD by putting her feet in the ridiculously cold lake. It's LIT'rally called Cold Lake.
We were going to bring her down for the fireworks but I don't have any baby hearing protection. Plus, such loud noises that much past bedtime, I predict would cause quite a meltdown.

We went to a festival at a park and there was a baby contest there. It was very poorly ran, they were so unorganized and hey started almost 2hrs late!
After that we went to the splash pad, which is always a hit!
