Tablet help

Ava and I might be going back to Canada for a visit this fall - just the two of us again. I know this time will be even more difficult than last time but at least she'll have her own seat on the plane.

I'm already starting to gather ideas for keeping her occupied on the flights. Seriously considering getting a tablet (we're probably the only people without one!)

Any recommendations? Whereas I love apple products I can't afford an iPad. Plus I want to put some bubble guppy apps on it and they are not available for that platform.

Thinking of the kindle fire or a google tablet or...??? Hoping to spend no more than $200-$300. Something Ava can use but that I will also be able to use for work.

    I was just reading up on the galaxy one and yes that's a huge plus having the SD card. Can you still access amazon prime stuff with the galaxy?

    I think it's between the kindle fire and the galaxy tab 4 right now....

    I also have the Samsung Galaxy Tab and I love it. DH has an Ipad and he is always on my tablet because it's better than his Internet wise. His always crashes.

    We have an iPad and a kindle fire. I actually really like the kindle fire more for LO. It has a feature called kindle free time, costs about $5/month. The free time works great for LO as it picks apps, books, etc appropriate for his age and learning, and he isn't able to make any purchases by accident. Smaller size is also nice for him to hold on his own.
