Fertile week/window opinion

Hey girls! I know, I know, I know, bbt, fertility friend, blog, BUT I wanted to just get an opinion on what others would do. My cycles have been exactly 30 days for the last 3 months, with positive OPKs on days 16 and 17. What days would you think were the best to have sex?

Is this a trick question? Four days prior to O day is the start of your fertile time... you need consistent charting to best predict your fertile days bc only know O day after the fact... best wishes

The ones before and after your +OPK. Do some math. This is not difficult.

With the caveat that your O day can change every month even if your cycle length is the same, and that you will not know for sure you are hitting your fertile window, and as long you are not going to stress about it all in the TWW, and assuming you don't want to have sex every day, then I would probably pick every other day from CD 11 to CD 20.

But, I've never understood asking others when I should schedule my sex sessions with DH.

Using OPKs alone isn't going to give you the best picture of your ovulation. If you're not charting, and you've been consistent for the last three cycles, I agree with @darcyhermione, days 14-20 sound like a safe bet. But the thing about cycles is that they're consistent until they're not - temping plus OPKs (and paying attention to your CM and checking your cervix*) is a great way to help you get a much better idea of when to be timing sex.

*If you haven't read Taking Charge of Your Fertility, I highly recommend it.

It just wasn't normal for me. I typically O on CD14 or CD15.

Ok, me too. I was having a minor freak out that it wasn't good that I O'd that early. Thanks for clarifying!
