shooting poop!

After struggling for 30 minutes to poop, DD finally got it all out while I was putting the new diaper on her. It shot out of her cute little bum all over my arm (covering me from mid forearm to mid bicep) and onto the floor 5 ft away. I know this BC instead of helping me DH ran to get a tape measure.

Well that's one way to wake up in the morning! Anyone else deal with shooting poop? Is it normal for poop to squirt that far out of a 6wk old baby, or is something possibly wrong with her?

    Oh yeah. One time is was so loud I literally jumped and shouted a bit. Scared me!

    I have no idea if poop can shoot out, damn that girl has some power in her bum!! Good for her getting it 5ft away!

    Yep any bodily function can fountain out of a newborn. Pretty amazing and disturbing.

    Rocket poo used to be a term we reserved for our dog after a trip to the beach. Since this little lady has come along we have been using it more frequently! She got me mid change the other day and shot poop so forcefully I was shocked!

    This happened a few days ago to us. I thought LO was done pooping and as soon as I removed the old diaper poop shot out all over my hands and arm and all over the floor.

    We use the term thunder poop! It happened to me twice in one day. I even had the diaper under him too! It got on the diaper, changing table, my arm and the floor a few feet away.

    Yep, us too. The best fun a mama can have, right? DD was going only once a day for a while, so you can imagine there was a spectacular volume when she had her daily poo -- usually at high velocity.

    My LO does it too. My husband had just been complaining that she peed on him and that night while changing her she shot poo at me and it got on my hand so I told him he can no longer complain!

    Brooke did it to my mom. She was changing a poopy diaper and thought she was done and had her legs in the air to wipe her butt and she shot poop all over her shirt!!

    It happened to DH last night. I was asleep and didn't see it but it apparently it was so bad DH washed his clothes at 3am!
