Super hard stomach

Does anyone know how come some days my stomach is kinda soft, I can press on it and it will go in easily and other days it is super hard like a rock. I have to press pretty hard to dent it at all. Thanks!

Baby position? Where she has her butt usually gets really hard, but it's not always in the same place.

my doctor said when it gets really hard like that Im having a braxton hicks contraction. they last for a few minutes and then even after my belly is still pretty hard. she had me feel it the other day. I just thought it was the baby pressing up against me.
