  I have just been putting my own earbuds against my belly or listening to songs and singing along while doing housework.

  
  

  I'm a Gleek & a Zumba instructor, so my kiddo is hearing a lot of "Don't Stop Believing" and salsa music.

  )  lol No, I will not be putting earbuds on my belly. Baby can hear the outside sounds just fine without them . I don't play any music FOR my baby, but I listen to a wide variety. Just stuff I like mostly.

  We put an earbud inside my belly button and play music at a quiet volume. Just music we listen to - Arcade Fire, Metric, Future Islands, stuff like that. Though we did play some Ludovico Einaudi for him, too. I have read that you shouldn't play things that are too up-tempo, because it can increase their heart rate.

  We put earbuds on my belly too. It's just funny to have an earbud in my belly button. Baby listens to all kinds of stuff.

  I usually just out my ear bud on my tummy and LO loves it. He really goes crazy when Jimi Hendrix is on, it feels like he's kicking to the beat!

  I figure he's going to have to listen to what I like when he's out, so I'm not playing anything special just for him.  I play 60's music in my lab while my students work, so he's hearing a lot of oldies.  The car is mostly pop music or NPR.
